Terms of Sale

The KITC Care Companion, from Keep It Together Care ("KITC", "we", "us"), keepittogethercare.com

Last updated: 2 November 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and us when you buy a plan for the KITC Care Companion. We've kept them as plain as we can. If anything is unclear, please ask us before you buy.

1. Who we are

  • Company: Keep It Together Care Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17493072.
  • Registered office and postal address: Toad Hall, 5 Frog Island, Leicester, LE3 5AG.
  • ICO registration number: ZC266376.
  • Email: hello@keepittogethercare.com

In these terms, "we" and "us" means Keep It Together Care Ltd. "You" means the person who buys the plan.

2. What you're buying

A monthly or yearly plan for the KITC Care Companion. It's an online service that opens in your web browser, so there's nothing to download.

Each plan is for one family space, built around one person you care for. It includes:

  • room for up to 10 family members, you included, at no extra cost;
  • up to 5 helpers, who see the help board only, never anything medical;
  • the Companion's tools for keeping appointments, medicines, letters, results, notes and questions in one place, asking questions about your own records, recording appointments (with the doctor's or nurse's agreement), and printing a medicines list and a hospital grab sheet.

Voice is an optional extra. It lets you talk to the Companion and have photos of letters, results and medicine packs read for you to check. It comes with a monthly allowance of talking time, shared by the family. The Companion shows how much is left. Typing is never limited.

Voice top-ups. If your family uses up its Voice minutes, you can buy 45 extra minutes for £5. It's a one-off payment, not a subscription.

What you need. An internet connection and an up-to-date web browser on a phone, tablet or computer. To use Voice, you also need a microphone.

Caring for two people? You can add a second family space at half price.

You must be 18 or over and live in the UK to buy a plan. We only sell plans to people living in the UK.

3. What the Companion is not

Please read this part carefully.

  • It is not medical advice. It never diagnoses, gives a prognosis, or tells anyone to start, stop or change a treatment, medicine or supplement. Those decisions are always for the clinical team.
  • It is not for emergencies. If someone is unwell, call 999, or the 24-hour number the care team gave you, or NHS 111.
  • Explanations and summaries can be wrong. The Companion uses AI to read letters, summarise recordings and answer questions, and AI can make mistakes, including about medicines, doses and dates. Always check anything important against the original letter or label, or with the care team. The Companion only adds appointments, medicines and results to your record once someone in your family has checked and approved them.

4. Price and payment

If you join by 30 November 2026 (founding price):

  • KITC Care Companion: £24.99 a month, or £249.90 a year.
  • With Voice: £34.98 a month (£9.99 for Voice), or £349.80 a year.
  • A second family space: £12.50 a month (monthly only).

If you join from 1 December 2026:

  • KITC Care Companion: £29.99 a month, or £299.90 a year.
  • With Voice: £44.98 a month (£14.99 for Voice), or £449.80 a year.
  • A second family space: £14.99 a month (monthly only).

For everyone: a Voice top-up is £5 once, for 45 extra minutes.

These prices are the total you pay. We're not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added.

Payment is taken by Stripe. We never see your full card number. The Companion switches on as soon as the payment goes through.

  • Monthly plans: you pay your first month when you buy. After that, your plan renews and you pay on the same date each month until you cancel. There's no minimum term.
  • Yearly plans: one payment covers 12 months, for the price of 10. A yearly plan doesn't renew by itself, and we never take another payment unless you ask us to. We'll email you at least 30 days before it ends, and you choose whether to carry on. If you don't, your plan ends on the last day of your year.

Founding price. If your first payment goes through by 11:59pm (UK time) on 30 November 2026, you're on the founding price. Your prices then stay the same for as long as your plan continues, including if you switch between monthly and yearly, or carry on when a yearly plan ends. That includes Voice and a second family space, even if you add them later. If you cancel and come back within 6 months, you keep them. After that, the prices at the time you rejoin apply.

Price changes. If you're not on a founding price, we may change the price of your plan to reflect changes in our costs of running the Companion, such as hosting, AI and voice services, or in tax. We'll email you at least 30 days before. If you don't want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it starts and you won't pay it.

5. Our 30-day money-back guarantee

Try the Companion for 30 days. If it isn't right for your family, email hello@keepittogethercare.com within 30 days of your first payment. Please write from the email address you paid with, or tell us which one it was, so we can find your plan. We'll refund everything you've paid us in that time, including Voice and any voice top-ups, and cancel your plan. No quibble, and you don't need to give a reason.

  • We send the refund within 14 days of your email, to the card you paid with. Your bank may take a few more days to show it.
  • The guarantee is once per family. It covers your first 30 days with us, and the first 30 days of a second family space if you add one. If you cancel and join again later, it doesn't start again.
  • It's a promise on top of your legal rights, not instead of them.

6. Your legal right to cancel

You have a legal right to cancel your plan within 14 days, ending 14 days after the day you buy it. You don't need to give a reason. The same applies to a second family space, from the day you buy it.

To cancel, tell us clearly, for example by emailing hello@keepittogethercare.com or writing to us at the address in section 1. You can use the cancellation form at the end of these terms, but you don't have to. As long as you send your message before the 14 days end, you're in time.

Because you asked us to start the Companion straight away, the law would let us charge for the days you used before you cancelled. We don't. If you cancel within 14 days, we refund everything you've paid for the plan within 14 days of hearing from you, to the card you paid with.

7. Cancelling your plan

You can cancel at any time. Email hello@keepittogethercare.com and tell us you want to cancel, or cancel yourself with Manage or cancel your plan on Your plan in the Companion. You don't need to give a reason, and we'll confirm by email. If you cancel by email, your cancellation counts from the day you send it.

  • Your plan stays on until the end of the month or year you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
  • After the 30-day guarantee, we don't refund part months on a monthly plan, or the rest of the year on a yearly plan, unless section 8 or the next point applies.
  • On a yearly plan, if caring comes to an end, tell us and we'll refund every whole month left after the one you're in. We won't ask for proof. We send the refund within 14 days, to the card you paid with.
  • When a plan ends, the family space can still be read for 12 months, then it's deleted. We'll email the main carer a month before. You can ask us for a full copy of your family's records at any time.

8. If something goes wrong

We'll provide the Companion with reasonable care and skill, and it will work as we describe it in these terms and on our website.

Now and then it may be unavailable for maintenance or because of a problem. We'll keep this as short as we can and tell you about planned breaks in advance. Please keep a printed medicines list and grab sheet for the times you can't get online.

If the Companion doesn't work as it should, tell us. You can ask us to put it right, at no cost to you, within a reasonable time and without causing you significant inconvenience. If we can't, or don't do it in a reasonable time, you can ask for a price reduction, which can be up to a full refund of what you've paid. If something we supply damages your device or other digital content because we didn't use reasonable care and skill, we'll repair it or pay you fair compensation. This doesn't affect your other legal rights. Citizens Advice can tell you more about them.

9. Using the Companion

  • Only add information about the person you care for if you have a proper reason to. Our Privacy notice explains what that means, and the Companion asks when you set up a family space.
  • You decide who joins your family space and what role they have. You can remove someone at any time.
  • Keep your password to yourself. Each person who joins has their own account.
  • Please don't misuse the service, try to get into anyone else's family space, or use it to run a care business for many clients. Each family space is built for one family.

We may suspend or close a family space if these rules are seriously broken, or if the law requires it. Unless the law or someone's safety stops us, we'll tell you why first and give you a fair chance to put it right. If we close it, we'll refund any time you've paid for and not used, and give the main carer a full copy of the family's records, unless the law stops us.

10. Your information

Our Privacy notice explains what we keep, who can see it, and how long we keep it. KITC staff are not members of your family space, and there's no screen in the Companion that lets them read your records.

11. Our responsibility to you

If we break these terms or don't use reasonable care and skill, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result. Loss or damage is foreseeable if it's obvious it would happen, or if we both knew it might happen when you bought your plan.

The Companion is for your family's own use, so we're not responsible for business losses.

Decisions about someone's health, care or treatment are made by you and the clinical team, not by the Companion. This doesn't remove our responsibility where our own lack of reasonable care caused a problem.

Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility where the law doesn't allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under your rights in the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

12. If your employer pays

If your employer has given you a family place, your employer pays, not you, under its own agreement with us. Sections 4, 5 and 6 don't apply to you, because you haven't paid us. Everything else does.

Your employer never sees anything in your family space, or how you use it.

If your employer's place ends, for example because you leave your job or the scheme stops, we'll email you at least 30 days before. You can carry on by paying for a plan yourself and keep everything in your family space. If your employer place started by 30 November 2026, you get the founding price when you start paying yourself. If you don't, the family space can still be read for 12 months, then it's deleted, and you can ask us for a full copy of your records at any time.

13. Complaints

If you're unhappy, email hello@keepittogethercare.com or write to us at the address in section 1. We'll reply within 5 working days and do our best to put things right. If we can't agree, Citizens Advice can give you free, independent advice.

14. Changes and the law

We may update these terms to reflect changes in the law, in the Companion or how we provide it, or in the providers we use. If a change affects a plan you already have and isn't to your benefit, we'll email you at least 30 days before it applies. You can cancel before then, and we'll refund any time you've paid for after the change starts. A change never removes a founding price.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you keep the protection of the consumer law where you live, and you can bring a claim in your local courts.
